The Kids Took Over the Menu

This year we let the kids write the menu. We partnered with the Ronald McDonald Houses near our shops and brought a Brenz design sheet to the kids staying there, with one job on it: design your own pizza.

The designs came back all over the map. Some kids went classic, the kind of pizza you could order at any shop on any night. Others went somewhere only a kid would go, with cotton candy, marshmallows and frosting. Nobody was told what a pizza was supposed to be, which is the best part, and it's more fun than any menu meeting we've had.

We looked at every one, and we picked our favorite. It goes on the menu for the month of November, and the proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House. So the pizza is a kid's idea, it's on our menu, and the money goes back to the place where the kids were staying when they made it.
