New Albany Walkathon · hot slices at the finish for 1,500.

Sunday morning, downtown New Albany. 1,500 walkers, 5K, the whole town out for it.

We rolled in two hours before the first finishers. Tent up, boxes stacked, gloves on. By the time the lead runners crossed, we had hot pep, sausage, and veggie out under the canopy.

Pizza after a 5K hits different. The line stayed long until the last walker came through.
