Carmen's Cookie Pizza Is on the Menu for November

Carmen's Cookie Pizza started as a coloring page. Every year we send the Ronald McDonald Houses we work with a set of pizza outlines, and the kids and families staying there fill them in with their own dream pizzas. This year a child from the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio sent back the one we picked for the November menu.

Here is everything on it: a chocolate chip cookie base, chocolate sauce, crumbled Oreos, more chocolate sauce, and sprinkles. Chocolate appears twice, once under the Oreos and once over them, which reads like the choice of someone who was never told how much chocolate is too much. The list is short, and it is exactly what a kid would put on a pizza if the only rule was that it had to be fun to eat.

It runs for the whole month of November, from Sunday, November 1, 2026 through Monday, November 30, 2026, and then it is gone until a child draws the next one. You add one to your order next to

whatever else you are getting, so a cookie pizza can ride along with a dinner pizza instead of replacing it. $4 from every cookie pizza sold goes to the local Ronald McDonald House, so a dessert you were already thinking about comes with a reason.

This is our second year with the Ronald McDonald Houses, and this year the partnership covers three of them: Central Ohio, the Triangle in North Carolina, and East Tennessee in Knoxville. Last November was the first time we ran it. The process has not changed much. The coloring pages go out to the houses, the families design their pizzas, and the drawings come back to us at the end of September, when we go through them and pick the winner. The part that makes it worth doing is that the menu item is not ours. We did not write the recipe, we just agreed to make it.

The houses get more than a menu item out of it. We are planning a pizza party for each house this month, with a special one for the winning group, and we are sending awards to five other winners in categories like most creative. Some of that will show up on our social channels over the month as the dates are set.

We are family owned and operated, and the dough is made daily in the shop. This month's special skips the dough and starts with a cookie, which makes it a little different from everything else we make.
